Ceftazidime is a cephalosporin (SEF a low spor in) antibiotic. It works by fighting bacteria in your body. Ceftazidime injection is used to treat many kinds of bacterial infections, including severe or life-threatening forms. Ceftazidime may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

It helps heal acid damage to the stomach and esophagus, helps prevent ulcers, and may help preventcancer of the esophagus. Pantoprazole belongs to a class of drugs known as proton pump inhibitors (PPIs). The injection form of this drug is used for a short time when you cannot take the medication by mouth.

Esomeprazole injection is used to treat symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and other conditions involving excessive stomach acid such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Esomeprazole injection is also used to promote healing of erosive esophagitis (damage to your esophagus caused by stomach acid).

Oral artesunate should not be used during the first trimester of pregnancy.Parenteral artesunate should be used for the treatment of severe falciparummalaria only where there is evidence that the antimalarial efficacy of quinine is declining.

Infections caused by pathogens sensitive to Ceftriaxone Injection, e.g.:
- sepsis;
- meningitis;
- abdominal infections (peritonitis, infections of the biliary and gastrointestinal tracts);
- infections of the bones, joints, soft tissue, skin and of wounds;
- infections in patients with impaired defence mechanisms;
- renal and urinary tract infections;
- respiratory tract infections, particularly pneumonia, and ear, nose and throat infections;
- genital infections, including gonorrhoea.
Perioperative prophylaxis of infections.

Calcium Gluconate Injection, USP is used to treat conditions arising from calcium deficiencies such as hypocalcemic tetany, hypocalcemia related to hypoparathyroidism and hypocalcemia due to rapid growth or pregnancy.  It is also used in the treatment of black widow spider bites to relieve muscle cramping and as an adjunct in the treatment of rickets, osteomalacia, lead colic and magnesium sulfate overdosage.  Calcium gluconate has also been employed to decrease capillary permeability in allergic conditions, nonthrombocytopenic purpura and exudative dermatoses such as dermatitis herpetiformis and for pruritus of eruptions caused by certain drugs.  In hyperkalemia, calcium gluconate may aid in antagonizing the cardiac toxicity, provided the patient is not receiving digitalis therapy.
